The Future of Medicine

The Future of Medicine

New York-Presbyterian, in collaboration with Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and Weill Cornell Medicine, is one of the nation’s premier academic health systems. Our W. P. Carey Residency Program is deeply committed to training the most talented and diverse physician trainees to be the next generation of leaders in medicine.

We have more than 150 accredited graduate medical education (GME) programs and nearly 1,900 trainees in virtually every area of medicine, making us one of the largest centers of graduate medical education in the country.

Innovation in Learning

Our new curriculum, made possible by the W.P. Carey Foundation, was developed with the future of medicine in mind. We provide residents with the skills and experience needed to be a doctor in the digital age, including extensive training in telehealth and AI.
