Administrative Assistant Program
Do more than just paperwork.
Hospital stays involve a lot of support outside of medical treatment. Patients also interact with offices that cover everything from follow-up, to billing, to community outreach. These clinical and administrative departments welcome volunteers willing to contribute their skills and enhance the patient experience. As is the case in most office settings, you will answer phones, enter data, type, file and photocopy documents. But in addition, you may give directions to an expectant mother, help resolve billing questions for an anxious family member or schedule a follow-up visit for a surgical patient. In offices large and small, you will draw upon your reserves of compassion and responsiveness to contribute to patients' overall well-being.
We would love to hear from you if you are: an effective communicator, have great attention to detail, enjoy providing excellent customer service, have a desire to work in a professional office environment, can maintain a positive attitude
