New York Methodist Hospital will host the first Fred L. Mazzilli Lung Cancer Screening Awareness Day on Saturday, November 16, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Hospital’s Carrington Pavilion Atrium, located at 506 Sixth Street, Park Slope, Brooklyn.

New York Methodist Hospital’s (NYM) annual Red Stocking Soirée fundraiser will be held on Wednesday, November 20 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Hospital’s Carrington Pavilion, 506 Sixth Street in Brooklyn.

New York Methodist Hospital’s (NYM) award-winning heart center has now added an advanced heart valve procedure for the treatment of life-threatening aortic stenosis (narrowing of one of the main valves to the heart). The procedure, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), is performed in NYM’s cutting edge cardiac catheterization laboratory by a team of experts from both NYM and NewYork Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.­­­

New York Methodist Hospital (NYM) invites women ages 18 and up from across the borough to join the Hospital for an Evening of Spirit on Wednesday, October 23 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Evening of Spirit is NYM's second event in partnership with the Spirit of Women network of hospitals, and will take place in the Hospital's Carrington Pavilion Atrium, located at 506 Sixth Street in Brooklyn.
