About our Program
Our specially trained interventional radiologists use evidence-based minimally invasive approaches to diagnose and treat conditions in both adults and children. Propelled by the medical leadership and clinical distinction of NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center, our team offers programs of excellence in men’s and women’s health, advanced minimally invasive cancer care including liver, kidney and lung cancer ablation, liver chemoembolization and Y90 radioembolization , arterial disease, venous disease and venous access, and biopsy procedures.
The nationally and internationally recognized interventional radiologists at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital are innovators in the field, working to develop and refine therapies and the latest minimally invasive approaches. We perform some of the most technically demanding and innovative interventional radiology procedures, including those used to treat cancer, peripheral artery disease (PAD), benign prostate hyperplasia, and uterine fibroids. We are the only hospital in Westchester to offer prostate artery embolization to treat benign prostate hyperplasia, a common condition in men.
These procedures are done in a specialized suite equipped with the most advanced imaging modalities including X-ray fluoroscopy, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and ultrasound.
